Spicy Lamb Sticks with Yoghurt Sauce

When we first started Leelands, Bill was trialling a product that became known as ‘meat on a stick’. Needless to say, it needed a little refinement. Here we are, years later, with the perfect version of one of those very early concepts thanks to our good friend Julie from Shared Kitchen. It’s making us feel a little bit like we’re growing up.


  • 500gms of Leelands Lamb Mince
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic ,crushed
  • 1 tsp of peeled and grated root ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tblsp finely chopped coriander
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tblsp chickpea flour

Steamed rice to serve ( optional )

Yoghurt Sauce

  • 1 cup unsweetened yoghurt
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 tblsp chopped mint
  • 1 hot green chilli ( deseeded and chopped )
